It is a fermented drink of sprouted grains, it contains active enzymes and beneficial bacteria that improve digestion and strengthen immunity. Redjuvelak is rich in B vitamins, vitamins C, E and proteins. Also used as a natural probiotic, the good bacteria are great at cleaning the gut. Suitable for active sportsmen as an energy drink .
Redjuvelac can be drunk as a drink or used as an ingredient instead of water, for example in green smoothies or energy soup. This drink is an integral part of every detox program.
Ingredients:
2 cups wheat grains 10 cups boiled water (cold)
Making:
Soak wheat in water (4 cups of water) for a day.
Drain the water in which the wheat was soaked, rinse under running water in a colander. Leave for another 24 hours at room temperature. The wheat will begin to sprout, small sprout tails should be visible. If the wheat has not germinated within 24 hours, then you need to keep it for a few more hours until it germinates.
Place the sprouted wheat in a food processor or blender and grind until smooth. Place the resulting mass in a clean jar and pour the remaining water (6 cups). Cover the jar with cheesecloth, as much as you can tie a rubber band around the neck. It's important to get oxygen. Leave the jar at room temperature for at least 48 hours. The longer you keep it, the stronger the flavor you will have.
Strain the contents of the jar into a clean container and seal tightly. Stored in the refrigerator, rediuvelak has a shelf life of about 2 weeks.
