Sea kale and pumpkin salad (mix)

The chemical composition of sea cabbage is unique: a large amount of amino acids, vitamins, trace elements. Compared to ordinary cabbage, kelp contains twice as much phosphorus, 11 times more magnesium, 16 times more iron, 40 times more sodium. It is probably the only source of dietary iodine.
Laboratory studies show that sea cabbage contains the same amount of provitamin A as in fruits - apples, plums, cherries, oranges.

. 100 g of dry sea kale contains 10 micrograms of vitamin B12. Dried kelp contains 15 to 240 mg of vitamin C, and green kelp contains 30 to 47 mg. According to the amount of vitamin C, sea cabbage is equal to oranges, strawberries, onion leaves, and sorrel. Sea cabbage contains vitamins D, K, PP.
Sea cabbage is also useful because it is rich in biologically active substances - alginates. We know alginates as food preservatives (E 400-404, E 406, E 421), but they are not substances harmful to health. Alginates are primarily known as extremely effective absorbents that collect and remove from the body heavy metals, toxic substances of organic origin and free radicals, that is, what we more often call slags.
Prevents getting sick

Ancient Chinese and Japanese doctors called kelp the ginseng of the sea, because they knew that this plant helps a tired or sick person to regain strength. It is difficult to count all the beneficial properties of sea cabbage, we will list only a few of them.
Gently cleanses the digestive tract. Active sorbents (mannitol, alginic acid) once entered the intestine, simply sweep away a number of toxic substances accumulated in it.
Helps prevent iodine deficiency, improves thyroid function. The thyroid gland is an important endocrine gland that affects metabolism. A sufficient amount of iodine in the body is a necessary condition for the normal secretion of hormones. The daily rate of this trace element is about 200 micrograms. If there is not enough of it in the food consumed, a compensatory process of thyroid gland enlargement begins, which often becomes irreversible. This is the body's reaction to iodine deficiency.
Prevents cholesterol from accumulating in blood vessels. Sea cabbage contains substances that simply destroy the process of cholesterol plaque formation that has begun in the blood vessels. It is not without reason that Japanese people suffer from atherosclerosis 10 times less often than residents of Western countries.
Polysaccharides, vitamins, microelements present in these plants also activate blood circulation, lymph drainage and also prevent the formation of blood clots. In addition, biologically active substances stimulate cell renewal processes.
Strengthens immunity, protects against cancer. The polysaccharide complex in seaweed stimulates the immune system. Japanese and Chinese women who consume sea kale daily have a much lower incidence of breast cancer than their peers in Europe.
Regulates weight and helps to lose weight. Sea kale is rich in fiber and low in calories.
Helps with sexual dysfunction. By regularly eating sea cabbage, men can help themselves to normalize the impaired function of the prostate. In addition, they act as a great aphrodisiac!
The many health-enhancing properties of sea cabbage probably led to the fact that in Ancient China during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, not consuming this plant could be considered an anti-state crime. There is evidence that there was an emperor's decree obliging Chinese citizens to consume seaweed every day. Sea cabbage was bought with state funds and transported to the remotest corners of the country. Sea cabbage is also included in the popular immunity-boosting super mixture "ELIXYRAS".

Delicious and healthy :)
